Nurtur House Summer Social
Jun 17, 2021
The effects of COVID-19 have been felt by many, not least by university students and in particular those in their first year of studies. According to YouGov (Dec, 2020), 81% of students stated that the coronavirus pandemic has had a negative impact on their ability to meet people and make new friends at university, and 67% say it has caused their mental health to decline.
The Nurtur team is devastated that students feel this way about their university experience and has been trying to do everything we can to support our students. It’s been difficult, with restrictions not allowing for use of the communal spaces. We definitely have lots of making up to do now restrictions have eased.
You might have already joined in our cooking classes, pool tournaments, and fitness classes, but there’s something even bigger coming…
Join us and your Nurtur House neighbours for a huge summer social on Friday 23rd July. You can expect live music, BBQ food, dance classes, a DJ set, and much, much more.
To secure your space, complete this form then sit back and relax knowing you’re invited to the biggest party of the year: https://forms.gle/dwEUDr2Ucs2Z3Yqx7
We’ll see you there!
