Preparing for your move to Nurtur
Aug 18, 2021
It’s only a matter of weeks now until we welcome you to Nurtur, and we can’t wait.
To make sure we can check you in to your studio as smoothly as possible, please read through the information below and ensure you have completed all steps.
Complete your student portal tasks
If you haven’t received your log-in details for your new portal yet, please don’t worry, it will be with you in the next few days. Once you’re received them, please complete all sections available on your Student Portal
This includes ensuring you have paid your tenancy deposit, as well as your first rent instalment before you arrive. This is especially important, as we cannot issue a studio key to any resident who hasn’t made these payments on their account.
It’s also important that you let us know your desired date and time of arrival. We will be actively discouraging large queues from forming in Reception, so if you do not provide this information you may be temporarily turned away.
We also ask that you upload a passport-style photograph to your portal, as this will be used to identify you for processes including collecting any deliveries that are taken on your behalf by the Nurtur Team.
And finally, we ask that you read our photography and media release form. If you agree to the terms, we kindly ask that you complete the form and then re-upload it.
Read the Living at Nurtur handbook
In the next few days, your student handbook will be uploaded to your Student Portal and you will be notified via email. It will then be available to view at any time during your tenancy.
We strongly advise that you take some time to read through the handbook before you arrive.
It includes information such as how to register with the local doctor’s surgery, how to make rent payments on your account throughout the year, and a few rules that are in place at Nurtur Student Living.
Arriving at Nurtur House
When you arrive at Nurtur, if you have completed the steps above then the process should be extremely easy. Once we have identified you, we will be able to issue you your studio key fob and let you get settled in.
In your student handbook, you will find details of how to contact the Nurtur Team on the back page, including our phone number and email address. For those who are in quarantine for the first 14 days of their arrival, we encourage you to keep in touch with us and let us know if there is anything that we can help with.
However, it is extremely important that you do not try to contact us by leaving your studio or visiting reception, as this is a communal space and should not be entered if you are in a period of quarantine.
The Nurtur Team will be available to help during the hours of 09:00 – 17:00, Monday – Friday, with assistance available outside of these hours using the details in your handbook.
We can’t wait to see you soon.
