Recipe of the Month – Peanut Butter Jam Flapjacks

If you’re new to our recipe of the month, welcome to September’s five-ingredients recipe.

This month, we’re making Peanut Butter and Jam Flapjacks.

Ingredients needed:

– 5 tbsp salted butter
– 250g peanut butter
– 8 tbsp jam
– 80g light brown soft sugar
– 200g rolled oats


Step 1: Heat your oven to 180°C / 160°C fan/gas mark 4, and butter a square tin.
Step 2: Put 3tbsp of peanut butter, and the same of jam, in separate bowls. Put the rest of the peanut butter and jam with the butter and sugar in a pan on medium heat.
Step 3: Once melted, add the oats, stir and then leave to cool.
Step 4: Spoon your mixture into the cake tin, and flatten. Then space the leftover peanut butter and jam over the mixture.
Step 5: Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown before leaving to cool, and then cut into squares.
