Advance Rent
Your Advance Rent is due within 7 days of your reservation if made before 1st August and 24 hours if reserved after, and will be deducted from your first rental payment prior to your tenancy start date. Failure to pay your Advance Rent payment within this timeframe will result in your reservation being cancelled.
Tenancy Deposit
Your Tenancy Deposit is due prior to your tenancy start date and will be held in a Tenancy Deposit Scheme during your tenancy. The deposit is refundable at the end of your tenancy, less any deductions for damages or charges due. Unless you are a re booking a room for the following year, in which case your deposit will be transferred automatically to your new room.

Tenancy Agreement
You can view a sample Tenancy Agreement on our website. Once you have signed the tenancy agreement you are legally bound to pay the rent in full even if you do not move into the property or leave the property early.
Pricing
Nurtur Student Living manage the apartments on behalf of individual landlords which means while we set the weekly rent price at the start of the marketing period, the weekly rate can change through the year either because of dynamic pricing or if the landlord has requested a rent change. This means the price of the apartments can fluctuate up or down. When you make a reservation, we’ll quote you a weekly rate and a total figure based on the tenancy duration you’ve requested. Once you have digitally confirmed your reservation the weekly price you pay is the price quoted to you at the time you make you reservation and is listed in your AST. If at a later date an apartment is advertised at a lower rate, we are under no obligation to price match to the lower rate.
We may price match our rebooker rates to reflect any new weekly price reductions if this rate is lower than the original rebooker rate, but this will be only when there is a generic price reduction and not on single apartment price adjustment as requested by individual landlords. In this instance it would not trigger a price match.
Media permission
By accepting these terms and conditions, you understand the following statements unless explicitly stated otherwise:
- As a resident at Canterbury Hall/ Nurtur House, you understand that you may be present on occasions in which photography and/or video footage may be taken.
- You understand that these may be published for promotional purposes by Nurtur Student Living, including on social media and on the website, and give your permission for Nurtur Student Living to do so.
- You understand that you do not own any of the photography/video footage taken.
- You understand that you will not receive any financial compensation in regarding to the ownership, and/or taking of the photography/video footage
